A great start to the season for University of Maine football with a 21-18 win over conference opponent Towson last night!

Black Bear NIL talent helped lead the way on the scoreboard.

Malik McNeely and Nick Laughlin each found the end zone on second-quarter receptions, including the first touchdown of the 2026 season from McNeely.

Especially proud of Nick on a strong opening night after battling back from a season-ending knee injury last year.

Shoutout as well to Black Bear NIL offensive linemen Anthony Iliano, Jack Boutaugh and Andrew Kocan for helping get it done up front all night.
