
Black Bear NIL Collective Announces Partnership with UMaine Football Star Scotty Woods II
ORONO, MAINE September 30, 2025 – The Black Bear NIL Collective, dedicated to empowering University of Maine student-athletes, is thrilled to announce the signing of standout football player Scotty Woods II to a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) agreement.
Woods, a dynamic wide receiver and return specialist, joins the Black Bears as a fifth-year transfer from Harvard, where he built an impressive resume. A native of Lorton, Virginia, Woods was a 2024 First Team All-Ivy League selection as a return specialist and an All-New England honoree. He ranked fifth in the entire NCAA for his performance in punt returns while also amassing 52 receptions for 547 yards and three touchdowns as a wide receiver.
